How to Organize Your Store Reward Cards
Store reward cards offer discounts, bonus points and, in some cases, free merchandise and services. With airlines, grocery stores, movie rental shops, restaurants, coffee shops and large retailers offering store reward cards, it is easy to amass a collection. If your store rewards cards are scattered about or disorganized, you can organize your entire collection in one convenient location for each access whenever you need.

1
Organize your store rewards cards on a dedicated key ring. Purchase a small to large carabiner key ring clip, which is a metal loop with a spring clip. The device is available at large retailers or outdoors stores. Choose from a variety of colors and designs.
-
2
Create a hole in either the top or bottom right-hand corner of each card. An exact placement of each hole is not necessary; however, for easier handling, punch a phone in one card and then use it as a guide for the remaining cards.
-
3
Organize your store rewards cards by frequency of use or the alphabetical listing of each store. Employ a system that makes the organization of your cards the easiest for you. A color or shape combination is also an option.
-
4
Loop the cards onto the carabiner. Press the spring clip inward to open the device. Maintain the order of the cards and slip each one on one by one.
-
5
Attach the key ring clip to your regular key ring. If you are organizing a high number of cards, store them in your vehicle for safe keeping and easy access when shopping.

Tips & Warnings
Store reward cards are typically manufactured from cheap plastic. Some feature a pre-drilled key chain hole.
Carabiners that are manufactured for climbing have a thicker diameter, so select a mini carabiner or one from a large retailer. These varieties are much thinner.
Don't punch a hole over a bar code or magnetic strip. Doing so could damage the information encoded on the card.
