How to Install the Comcast Toolbar

You can install the Comcast toolbar on your computer quickly and easily.

Comcast is a company that provides cable television, broadband high-speed Internet, and telephone services. The Comcast toolbar is an extra application, or add-on, for Web browsers. The Comcast toolbar contains enhanced security features, such as anti-spyware scanning powered by Computer Associates (CA) and anti-phishing from Website Inspector. The Comcast toolbar also give you convenient access to email, news and weather.

Instructions

1. Access the Comcast website (see Resources).

2. Click "Toolbars for Windows" if you have a Windows-based PC, or "Toolbar for Mac" if you have a Mac-based computer.

3. Save the file to any location on your computer.

4. Click on the "Setup.exe" file to run the setup utility.

5. Read and agree with the license agreement.

6. Select "Close All Browser Windows Automatically" and click "Next." You must close all Web browsers to install the Comcast toolbar.
