How to Stream EverQuest Live
EverQuest is an MMORPG -- a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. If you want to stream your game live for friends or help those who do not know much about EverQuest, this can easily be done with a desktop and a streaming client. Once you have downloaded the streaming client, broadcast your game. You then will be ready to stream EverQuest live to anyone who wants to watch.

1
Find a streaming client. A streaming client is the software one uses to stream a game live. Through using this software, you can link EverQuest to a channel online for people to watch. For instance, LiveStream has a specific client for those who want to stream their desktop.
-
2
Download the client. Once you have downloaded your client, open the software.
-
-
3
Experiment with the streaming client. Click "2D Mix" for the camera to overlay the desktop. Click "Camera" to see the full screen. Click "Capture" to see your desktop. Then click "3D" to go back to the three-dimensional mix.
-
4
Create a channel. On LiveStream, you can choose between a free and premium option. If this is your first stream, try the free option.
-
5
Choose your channel name. As you will be streaming EverQuest, you will want to choose a name that will reflect that. Make it simple so it can be found easily.
-
6
Sign up and log in. Once you have completed that, you will be given the option to either launch the LiveStream Webcaster, Procaster or Studio. Choose Procaster. You will want this option because the Procaster streams your desktop. The Webcaster and Studio will not stream your desktop.
-
7
Broadcast your channel. Once the Procaster opens, you will be ready to Go Live. The Uniform Resource Locator (URL, or Web address) will be displayed at the top of the window. Copy and paste that address and send it to your friends -- they will then be able to view your live stream of EverQuest.

Tips & Warnings
If you want to know exactly how many frames per second you are receiving, Fraps is a useful application to download. This software will tell you how many frames per second you get in the corner of your screen.
Make sure your computer is capable of streaming live. If you have an old model, then the frame rate will not suffice -- the video will be fuzzy and unpleasant for viewers. If your computer's processor runs at 1.6 gigahertz or higher, you should meet the minimum requirements.
You will need to have a broadband connection, capable of at least 1 megabyte per second -- this is the lowest quality. At this quality, you will get roughly 15 frames per second at the most.
