How to Create Sample Patches
Embroidered patches are used for everything from businesses to children's clothing and accessories. Modern patches can be made to order by customers and created in either iron-on or standard sewing back. Help your customers see the quality of your patches by creating sample patches for both walk-in and online customers.

1
Using a pencil and paper, make a list of the different patches you make. Try grouping the patches into specific categories for the best organization.
-
2
Create one of each patch in an iron-on form.
-
-
3
Scan the patches using a digital scanner. For the best results, use the highest quality setting. Remember, this is your product that you are selling.
-
4
Place the scanned patches into a scrap book, holding the sample patches securely in place with craft glue. Remember to keep patches in organized categories so that your walk-in customers can easily browse through them.
-
5
Make two additional patches that actually say "sample" on them. The first patch should have an iron-on backing and the second, a standard backing. These sample patches should be left in a pouch in the scrap book and are meant to allow customers to see and feel the patch backing.
