How to Remove the Parental Control from a Tray
A parental control icon often appears in the system tray after you download a parental control program. Removing the parental control icon from the system tray does not remove the parental control program from your computer. However, if your parental control program is set up to provide security updates or pop-ups with other information, these will no longer appear on your desktop after you remove the icon.
