      Insert the digital optical cable into the "Digital Audio Out" port on the TV or other audio source device you want connected to the Yamaha RX-V360.

      Connect the other end of the cable into the "Digital Audio In" port on the Yamaha RX-V360.

      Power on both the source equipment and the Yamaha receiver. Select "Digital Audio" as the input you want to play and the audio from the connected hardware is now produced through the digital optical audio cable connection.
