How to Activate the T-Mobile G1 With T-Zones

Activate T-zones on your T-Mobile G1 account to surf the Internet.

The T-Mobile G1 is the first phone ever to offer the Android operating system. The device comes equipped with many features, including T-zones, which are T-Mobile's mobile Internet web portals. Users automatically get access to account information, news and update notifications free of charge; however, if you want to access the Internet you will have to add a service plan to your wireless account.

Instructions

1. Contact T-Mobile customer service department and follow the prompts to speak with a representative.

2. Verify your T-Mobile account and inform the representative of your intention to add T-zones to your account.

3. Wait for the representative to add the service to your account.

4. Restart your phone and slide up the "Menu" application. Tap "t-zones" and wait for the application to load. Tap "Browser" to access the Internet.
