    Things You'll Need

    • Brush
    • Hairspray
    • Hot rollers
    • Roller clips
    • Rat tail comb
      • 1

Brush out your clean dry hair, removing tangles. Divide the hair into three sections, the center, sides and the back. Clip the sections in place using alligator clips.

      • 2

Unclip the center section of your hair. Divide this section into three smaller sections, rolling each section onto a large roller. Spray the sections with a light coating of hairspray first.

      • 3

Clip the rollers in place using hot roller clips.

      • 4

Roll up the sides of the hair next using medium size rollers. Divide the side sections into three or four horizontal sections.

      • 5

Spray each small section with hairspray. Place the roller at the end of the hair length and roll the hair under.

      • 6

Clip the hair securely next to the scalp.

      • 7

Lift a horizontal section of hair at the back of your head using a rat tail comb. Hold the section by the tip and spray it with the hairspray.

      • 8

Roll up the hair, curling the hair under using medium or large rollers. Secure the hair next to the scalp with the clip. Lift another section of hair below the rolled section and continue rolling until all the hair in the back is in rollers.

      • 9

Spray the entire head of hair with hairspray. Let the hair rest for fifteen minutes.

      • 10

Remove the hot rollers and style the hair using your fingers or a pick.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Use small rollers to get tighter curls.

    • For better curl, do not remove hot rollers while they are still warm.
