How to Put a Picture As a Background on My 2003 Microsoft Powerpoint

PowerPoint is a presentation tool that allows you to create slide shows that display pictures, graphics and text. When you are creating a PowerPoint, you may want to add a picture as a background on a slide. This is a great way to liven up a presentation and it only takes a few moments to add background photos.

Instructions

1. Launch your PowerPoint application and open your presentation.

2. Click on the slide that you want to add a background to. Click "Insert" in the main menu bar. Choose "Picture," then "From File." Browse for the photo and click the "Open" button.

3. Click on the picture on the slide. Click the "Draw" button in the main menu. Scroll down and select "Order," then "Send Backward." This will make the picture a background image.
