How to Program a Prestige Key FOB

Keyless entry systems are popular on most cars around the world, and these systems can feature alarm and engine-starting capabilities. With Prestige keyless remotes, you can program all of the car's capabilities in just seconds from your driver's seat. The programming sequence will allow you to use your remotes right away and gives you the opportunity to program as many as four different remotes at one time.

Instructions

1. Enter your car with your key FOB, and leave the driver's side door open.

2. Insert your key into the ignition, and press the "Valet" button on your remote. Press it once to program the car alarm, twice to program the trunk release and three times to program the engine starter.

3. Wait for the car horn to chirp once, twice or three times, and press and hold the "Valet" button again.

4. Press the button on the remote that you would like to program while holding the "Valet" button and wait for the horn to chirp again.

5. Release both buttons after the horn chirps, and remove your key to end the programming sequence.
