How to Install a Maytag Convertible Portable Dishwasher

Remove the aerator from your existing kitchen faucet. Use a pair of pliers if the piece is hard to loosen.

Screw the aerator assembly that came with your dishwasher onto your kitchen faucet and attach it securely. If your faucet does not have external threads, use the adapter ring that was included with your dishwasher.

Remove the coupler from the back of the dishwasher and connect it to the faucet by pressing down on the thumb release and lifting it onto the faucet adapter.

Ensure the connections on the back of the dishwasher are securely attached.

Open the hot-water valve fully and check all connections for leaks.

Plug the dishwasher into an electrical outlet.
