How do I Thread a Flim Projector?
Like the 16 mm film that preceded it, 8 mm film consists of a roll of film with the exposed frames surrounded on both sides by sprocket holes. Threading 8 mm film onto a Kodak 8 mm film projector must be performed correctly if the film is to move freely. The procedure is a straightforward, if exacting, process that ensures the film is pulled through the projector and past the projection bulb. The construction of the Kodak 8 mm film projector removes many of the obstacles in threading the film that were once prevalent.
