How to Reinstall Starcraft Brood War
"StarCraft: Brood War" is an expansion version of the original "StarCraft" real-time strategy game developed by Blizzard Entertainment. If your installed version of the game is not working properly or causing unwarranted errors on your system, try reinstalling a fresh version of the game. To complete the reinstall process, you must first remove the software before reloading it back onto your system.

Uninstall "StarCraft: Brood War"

Click the "Start" button on your PC and choose "Control Panel" from the menu. Click "Programs" and select the "Programs and Features" option.

Click the "StarCraft: Brood War" entry in the list of programs and click the "Uninstall" button at the top of the list.

Click "Yes" in the message that appears to begin removing the software from your computer.

Restart you computer to ensure the uninstall is complete.
Reinstall "StarCraft: Brood War"

Insert the "StarCraft: Brood War" installation CD into your computer's disc drive.

Click the "Install StarCraft: Brood War" option in the "Auto Play" window that opens.

Click "Accept" in the licensing terms page and select the hard drive to store the game software. Click "Next" and click "Install" to reinstall the "Starcraft: Brood War" software back on to your computer.
