The Konica Minolta magicolor 2500W is an office printer with four toner cartridges. The magicolor 2500W allows you to get the status of each of these cartridges in two ways: via warning alerts as the status of each cartridge negatively changes or via general reporting whenever you need it. The warning alerts appear as toner indicator light flashes on the control panel. The status reporting appears as estimated toner amount details in Status Display software.
Check the status indicators on your Konica Minolta magicolor 2500W printer control panel. If a “Toner” indicator flashes slowly, the cartridge has low toner and is nearly empty. If a “Toner” indicator and the “Error” indicator flash quickly while the “Ready” indicator remains lit green, you’re using a toner cartridge that Konica Minolta hasn’t approved for your printer or a refilled cartridge.
Go to the “Start” icon on your computer if you want to see the estimated amount of toner remaining in each of your toner cartridges. Go to “All Programs” on the Start menu and then go to “KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 2500W Utilities.”
Click “KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 2500W Status” on the Utilities menu to open the Status Display window.
Select “Supplies Status” on the Status Display window to check toner status.
