How to Find the Best Interior Decorator in Northern Virginia

After finding a decorator in your city, read reviews of the decorator's work to gauge his or her talent.

Instructions

1. Check out the Certified Interior Decorators International website. Under "Find a CID Certified Interior Decorator," click "Search Now."

2. Enter your Northern Virginia city and highlight "Virginia" on the state list. Click "Search."

3. Review the results. All CID decorators in that city will appear. If none is listed, search for decorators in nearby cities in Northern Virginia.

4. Click on the magnifying glass to the right of a designer's name for contact information.

5. Call the designer and ask for references from previous clients. You can also search a website such as Yelp for reviews of a decorator's previous work.
