How to Make Pebble Magnets
Make your pebble magnets out of small found rocks or purchased polished stones from craft stores or online. If you prefer to add a bit more to your pebble magnets, use a permanent marker to write positive messages on them. Display the pebble magnets on your refrigerator or on a file cabinet at work.

1
Wash your pebbles if they are found outdoors. Let them dry thoroughly. If they are store-purchased pebbles, wipe them off with a clean cloth. Polished stones must be lightly sanded if you plan to write words on them.
-
2
Write positive words, such as hope, joy, smile or cheer, onto the pebbles with a permanent marker.

Place all of your pebbles into a shallow box and spray the tops with two to three coats of clear polyurethane spray sealer. The sealer comes in matt or glossy. Let the pebbles dry completely between coats of spray. Let the stones dry overnight to make sure the sealer has hardened.

Adhere the magnets to the back of the pebbles, using a heavy-duty craft glue. Let the glue dry for two to three hours, before handling the pebble magnets.
