Instructions

    • 1

Use the flat-ended screwdriver to wedge some distance between the ceiling and the dome light of the van. Take it slow and maneuver around the dome light to loosen it up. Once the dome light is loose, pull it down from the ceiling hole and disconnect the wire harness. Push the wire harness back up into the hole in the ceiling.

Position the mounting bracket over the hole in the ceiling and trace around it using a carpenter's knife to cut the headliner. When you are done cutting, remove the mounting bracket from its position so you can remove the headliner piece. Pull the wires down from the hole.

    • 3

Thread the wire harness through the slots in the mounting bracket and put the mounting bracket over the bare part of the ceiling. Use a drill with a machine tap drill bit to drill threaded holes through the mounting bracket and into the ceiling. Insert the mounting screws into the freshly drilled holes and tighten them with a Phillips screwdriver.

Plug the wire harness into the DVD player and slide the DVD player onto the mounting bracket, pushing it back until it locks into place.
