Start small. The Sunday School Kids website suggests learning the books in small chunks. Start by learning five books in a row such as Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. Once you get those five books down, add five more and so on until you have all of the books memorized.

Add a tune. Using a song to identify the books the Bible may help you learn them faster. Make up your own tune or use a familiar tune that already exists and apply the books of the Bible to that tune.

Make index cards. The Heart of the Matter Online website states that using index cards helps you learn the books of the Bible. On one side write questions such as naming the gospels. On the other side you would write: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Practice the questions in order of the books. You will soon learn the order of all of the books of the Bible.

Write on an erasable board. Place each book of the Bible in order on an erasable board. The Learn the Bible website states that you should read through the books and erase a book each time you read through it. This will help you learn the books one at a time. Practice this every day until you have learned all the books.

Practice with a friend. If you have a friend who also wants to learn the books of the Bible, recite them together. Recite four books and then have your friend recite four. Go through the entire Bible and then switch places. This will help you hear the books over again until you have them memorized.
