How to Use a Palm to Get the Internet on a Laptop
If you travel with both your Palm smart phone and a laptop then you may want to use the Palm Internet on your laptop. If you want to share the Internet connection, you must tether the devices. Tethering is connecting your laptop to a Internet-enabled smart phone to share the data connection. Only the Palm Treo 700p and 755p are able to tether. Your phone provider must also allow USB dial-up networking.
