The Scanner and Camera Wizard is an application installed by default on all Windows computer systems. The program allows you to access any of the camera or scanner hardware that you've connected to your computer. You can then import data directly from those devices. The entire process takes only takes a few minutes to activate and will provide you with a more convenient interface to your devices and digital data.

Instructions

      Open the Windows "Start" menu and click "All Programs." Click "Accessories." Then, click on "Scanner and Camera Wizard." Wait a moment as the program loads and displays on your desktop.

      Select either "Camera" or "Scanner" as the device you want to use. Make sure your hardware is connected to your computer before performing this action.

      Click on your scanner or camera and select "OK."

      Look over the images saved in the digital camera which are now displayed in the wizard application window, if you selected the "Camera" option; or, if you selected the "Scanner" feature, click "Scan" and the computer will import a digital image of any paper document that you have place on the scanner bed.
