Sony's BRAVIA line includes a series of flat-screen liquid crystal display TVs that feature high-definition picture quality, motion blur reduction, and inputs for HD and USB connectivity. Because a BRAVIA TV is compatible with other BRAVIA devices, you can use one remote to control related equipment such as DVD players and audio systems. You can set the time for accurate program information. Procedures and options may differ slightly across BRAVIA models.

Step 1

Press the “TV” button on the BRAVIA remote control to ensure that you are setting the time on the TV rather than on the accessories.

Step 2

Press the “Home” button to display the TV options. Use the “Left” and “Right” arrows to find the “Settings” options. Use the “Up” and “Down” arrows to locate the “Preferences” option.

Step 3

Press the “+” button to activate the Preferences options. Choose the “Clock/Timers” option to display the clock options.

Step 4

Select “Current Time” to display the Current Time screen.

Step 5

Move the selection to “Date” and press the “+” button. The selection moves to the month number. Use the “Up” and “Down” arrows to increase or decrease the numbers, then press the “Right” arrow to select and adjust the day and year. When you have finished setting the date, press the “+” button to move the selection to the entire date.

Step 6

Move the selection to “Time” and use the same process to adjust the numbers. Use the "Left" and "Right" arrows to move the selection to hour and minute, and the "Up" and "Down" arrows to adjust the numbers. When you are done setting the time, press the “+” button to move the selection to the entire date.

Step 7

Press the “Return” button to save your settings and return to the Clock/Timers options. Press the “Return” button several times until you close the Preferences options and return to the main TV picture.
