Baby oil is often used to moisturize dry skin because of its hydrating properties. The key ingredient in baby oil is mineral oil, a clear, liquid petroleum product. Once baby oil is applied to the skin, it creates a thin film which helps the skin retain moisture, but can also remain on the surface of the skin for longer than you'd like. Aside from waiting for the oil to be absorbed into your skin, there are a few other methods for removing it from your body.

Apply a small drop of mild dish detergent to your loofah and dampen under warm, running water.

Rub the soapy loofah all over the affected area using small, circular motions. The dish detergent will cut the grease while the loofah will exfoliate the oil film.

Rinse the soap from your skin.

Apply a salt scrub to your skin. Massage the scrub thoroughly into your skin using small, circular motions.

Rinse the salt scrub off under warm, running water and dry the area.
