How to Get Paper Off the Glass Mosaic Tiles
Many homeowners love the look and feel of glass mosaic tiles in their showers, on backsplashes or on bathroom floors. Many crafters like to use mosaic tiles to create artwork. Mosaic tiles come packaged in sheets, with the tiles evenly spaced and glued to heavy paper. After you install mosaic tiles, you must remove the paper before you can grout. Wet a sponge with warm water.If you are working with uninstalled mosaic tiles, place them in a bucket of warm water.

Wipe the paper on the installed mosaic tile with the wet sponge for three to five minutes, soaking the paper. If you are working with uninstalled mosaic tiles, let them sit in the bucket for an hour or more.

Peel the paper away from the installed mosaic tiles on a diagonal. If the paper does not peel away, apply more water to the paper with the sponge. If you are working with uninstalled mosaic tiles, gently peel the tiles away from the paper.
