How to Level Up Fast in Call of Duty 4
"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" gives players the chance to play against peers online in a variety of scenarios. Up to eight players form a team and work to defeat the opposing team. You earn experience points as you play, and your game level increases as your XP number goes up. Leveling up earns you increased abilities and weapons called perks, as well as a higher rank in the game.

Complete challenges. The games provides a number of feats that if you can accomplish them will yield experience point bonuses. These challenges include everything from killing a certain number of players with your knife to defusing a bomb.

Play a variety of game types. Some challenges can only be completed in certain scenarios. For example, you cannot complete the "Sabotage Victor" challenge unless you play and win the "Sabotage" scenario. Other game types include "Hardcore Deathmatch," "Search and Destroy" and "Headquarters."

Move around the map actively. You earn experience points with each kill, and you will get more kills by hunting your opposition. People who stay in on corner, or "camp," usually get more kills than deaths, but they tend to earn far fewer experience points.

Work together as a team. You earn a match bonus if your team wins, netting even more experience points. You will win more often if your team communicates well and forms a strategy to beat the opposition.

Use your perks. Some perks allow you to lay out motion-triggered mines called claymores. Others give you the ability to take one more bullet before dying. Experiment with these perks to see which best suits you and allows you to score the most kills.
