Instead of using your fingerprint, you will now log in normally.

Disabling the HP fingerprint login for your laptop or keyboard equipped with a biometric sensor, such as a fingerprint reader, requires turning off the Biometrics option in Windows. After disabling the Biometrics logon, you will set up or use an existing Windows password. Remember to make your password a mixture of lower- or uppercase letters, numbers and characters. Delete the fingerprint profile afterward to ensure it doesn't activate once more by accident.

      Click the "Start" button and then type "Biometric Devices" in the search box. Double-click the "Biometric Devices" shortcut.

      Click the "Change Biometric Device Settings" heading and then click the "Biometrics Off" radio button.

      Click the "Save Changes" button to apply the changes and close the window.
