Crock Pot is a brand name for a slow cooker, manufactured by Sunbeam Products. While models vary, they typically have a setting to cook on high or low. Cooking in a Crock Pot enables you to put the food in the cooker in the morning, turn it on, and leave it unattended until dinner is ready in the evening.       Place the raw chicken in the Crock Pot. Use a whole chicken, or cut up chicken.

      Add ½ cup of liquid, such as water, chicken broth or wine.

      Sprinkle salt and pepper over the chicken, or add seasonings as desired.

      Cover the Crock Pot.

      Cook on low for 7 to 10 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours. The chicken will begin pulling from the bones when done.
