Don't be stuck writing on your hand; change your printer's toner.

Printers have come a long way from their original design. Advanced laser printers such as the HP LaserJet 4350 don't just print black-and-white documents. These printers are known for fast printing speeds of up to, and over, 50 pages per minute. There is also memory capacity to enable printer-side buffering. The toner cartridge yields thousands of pages before needing replaced, but when it does require replacement, it's a simple process.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the toner box, and remove the toner cartridge.

    • 2

Open the access door on the front of the HP LaserJet 4350.

    • 3

Take the front of the cartridge and pull it up and toward you.

    • 4

Place the old, removed cartridge in the new cartridge's box.

    • 5

Open the plastic bag holding the new cartridge. Shake the cartridge gently for about a minute.

    • 6

Tilt the new cartridge at a slight angle, and insert it in the slot where the old cartridge resided. You will feel it snap into place.

    • 7

Take the old cartridge to a local recycling center or electronics store that participates in recycling.
