Comcast provides a variety of services including high-speed Internet, digital cable as well as digital home phone services. When you become a digital phone customer, Comcast provides you with its voicemail feature at no extra cost. The voicemail feature enables you to listen to your voicemails from your home phone and while you are away from home, plus you are also able to check your voicemails online. When checking your voicemails online, Comcast gives you the ability to answer to your voicemails via email through its user-friendly interface.

Instructions

      Log into your Comcast account.

      Click on the tab that says "Voice" on the Comcast main menu. The tab is displayed on the upper region of the window.

      Click on the tab that says "Get Voice Mail" and you will see a list of your voicemails in the order they were received. You will be able to listen to your voicemails in any order you want by clicking on the "Play" button beside each voicemail on your list.

      Select the Comcast voicemail you want to answer by clicking on it to highlight it. Proceed by clicking on the tab that says "Reply by Email" on the upper region of the window. An email draft will automatically be displayed on the screen and the voicemail that was sent to you will be attached on the email when you send it back.

      Type the email address of the person you want to answer regarding the voicemail (If the person is already in your contact list the email will automatically be populated). The subject line will already be populated with the phrase "About your voice mail;" however, you can type something else in the subject text box if you prefer. Type your answer regarding the voicemail you received in the body of the email and click on the "Send" tab. Your answer will be sent to the person who left the voicemail.
