  • Large glass or stainless-steel mixing bowl
  • 6-1/2 cups American brandy
  • 8 pints light cream or half & half
  • 5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup confectionery sugar
  • 3 pints vanilla ice cream
  • Punch bowl
  • dash nutmeg

Instructions

      Combine brandy, light cream or half & half and vanilla extract in a large glass or stainless-steel mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.

      Add confectionery sugar and stir to blend.

      Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight.

      Two hours before serving add vanilla ice cream, mixing well until it is dissolved.

      Place the punch in the refrigerator to keep chilled.
