How to Remove Bubbles From a Clarivue Screen Protector

Screen protectors shield electronic devices from dust, scratches and fingerprints. The stylus pens used on many of these devices can cause tiny scratches with repetitive use. Bubbles can form between the screen and protector, usually around the edges and corners, making the view of your electronic screen difficult. There are several ways to fix air bubble problems and continue using screen protectors on your electronic screens.

Instructions

    • 1

Rub the air bubbles toward the outward edge of the screen with your fingers. This tends to remove larger air bubbles, but it may not be as useful for smaller bubbles. If this doesn't work, continue to Step 2.

    • 2

Remove the screen protector. Clean the screen with a little diluted alcohol, using a cotton swab. Let the screen dry. Cleaning the screen may help remove any dust buildup that may prevent the screen protector from sticking.

    • 3

Place the protector back on the screen. Start in one corner and move the protector across the screen until it's completely in place.

    • 4

Remove any smaller bubbles with a credit card. Drag the card across the screen to remove any additional bubbles.
