Since you must look through windshield to see the road, a dirty, streaky or debris-filled windshield can be dangerous.   • Hose
  • Spray nozzle
  • Water
  • Glass cleaner
  • Squeegee
  • Automotive glass polish
  • Microfiber polishing towel

      Rinse the windshield thoroughly with clean water. Use a hose with a high-powered nozzle to help remove additional debris.

      Spray a standard glass cleaner onto the windshield. Use a microfiber polishing towel, which won't scratch your windshield, to scrub the dirt away.

      Rinse with water, then use a squeegee to dry the windshield. Use long, even strokes to dry.

      Use an automotive glass polish if you still see water spots or road contaminants. Rub the polish on using a clean microfiber polishing towel, then use a separate microfiber towel to wipe the polish away.

      Buff the windshield with a microfiber polishing towel to get rid of any streaks.
