Finding rental car agencies in new locations seems daunting at times, but there are many resources to locate these companies. With modern technology, smartphones can locate rental agencies with specialized apps. The tried and true yellow pages still work, as well as asking concierge services in hotels and airports.

Instructions

1. Log onto any major online search engine and enter "car rentals" and the name of your desired location. Write down the rental agencies that come up from the search, or click on their links to get the information needed.

2. Call down to the front desk of your hotel, or go to the concierge desk. Ask about local car rental agencies in the area. Often, they arrange transportation to the rental agencies for you as well as provide the address and names.

3. Open the phone book to the yellow pages. Look up "Car Rental Agencies" and cross-reference the addresses in the book with the area you wish to locate a car rental agency.

4. Ask a representative at travel information centers at airports, train stations and bus depots. These employees have access to area tourist information, including car rental agencies.
