How to Activate a Voice Mailbox on an AT&T Cell Phone

AT&T voicemail activation must be performed from your mobile phone.

Voicemail services are provided for AT&T mobile customers so that callers can leave messages when you are unable to answer your phone. Activating your voicemail must be performed from your mobile phone. When activating your mailbox you will be have the ability to create your own personal greeting or select a generic greeting from created by AT&T services. After your mailbox is activated, you will be able to access your messages from any phone.

Instructions

1. Press the number "1" key and hold it until the voicemail message begins.

2. Follow the prompts to activate your voicemail and set up your personal greeting.

3. Disconnect your call after setup is complete. You will now be able to receive voicemail messages.
