How to Do Squats on a Bowflex Ultimate 2

The Bowflex Ultimate 2 is an all in one exercise machine that allows owners to exercise all of the muscles in their body in one place. The Boxflex system utilizes a system of pulleys and allows users to increase or decrease resistance depending on their level of strength. The Bowflex allows owners to exercise their biceps, triceps, pectorals, glutes, hamstrings, quadriceps, shoulders, forearms and more.

Instructions

      Grab one of the handles of the machine in each hand and put one foot on one side of the bench and the other on the other side so that you are standing directly above it. Make sure that your legs are square to your shoulders.

      Bring the handles up so that your arms are directly above your shoulders. Take two steps out away from the back of the machine and stop once you begin to feel resistance from the machine.

      Move your hips back and slowly lower yourself so that you are at a 90 degree angle from the ground in a seated position. Be sure not to touch the bench when you are in this squat. Slowly raise yourself back up to the starting position. Repeat as many times as desired.
