Some Lenovo computers come with the Rescue & Recovery utility. This program lets you back up images of your hard drive or specific folders and allows you to restore the system to a previous state. Since Lenovo does regular backups of the system, you may find that the program uses up too much hard drive space. If you want to delete old backups, you can do so within the Rescue & Recovery utility.
Open Rescue & Recovery and click "Launch advanced Rescue & Recovery" in the lower-left corner of the window. Click "View all backups" under "Back up your system."
Select the "Advanced" pull-down menu and select the check box next to the backups that you wish to remove.
Click "Delete" to remove the backups.
