Disconnect your AT&T landline by contacting an AT&T customer service agent.

With the popularity and convenience of cell phones, many people find that the home landline is not a necessity. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 25.5 percent of homes only had wireless services during the final part of 2009. In addition, 15 percent of homes had landline service but received the majority of phone calls on wireless phones. Deciding to disconnect your AT&T landline service can be a money-saving decision if you rarely use your home phone.
