How to Hide a Mobile Number When Calling

"Blocked Call" may be displayed on caller ID when your hide your mobile number.

Hiding your mobile number when you place a call can help to maintain your privacy. Without doing so, when calls are placed from your mobile phone to caller ID-equipped phones, your caller information is displayed. Caller information that may be displayed includes your name and mobile number. You can use a special code to hide your number on a per-call basis. There is no charge for using the code.

Instructions

1. Press "*67" on your mobile phone's keypad.

2. Enter the 10-digit number of the party you are calling and press "Send" or the green "Phone" key.

3. Wait for the party to answer. Press the "End" key to disconnect the call at the end of the conversation.

Tips & Warnings

• The special code "*67" must be used each time you want to hide your mobile number.
