How to Take Someone on a First Date on the Person's Birthday
Many people do not want to be without a date on Valentine's Day, and nobody wants to be alone on their birthday. If you have been scoping out a certain special someone for a while, acknowledging the person's birthday may be your best chance at getting a first date.

1
Find out the date of the person's birthday. You can ask her friends or the person directly.
-
2
Plan the general type of date you would like to take the person on. You don't want to ask someone on a date without any details of the date you have in mind. After you decide on a general location, figure out the specifics, keeping in mind that the first date should also celebrate a birthday.

3
Ask in advance, at least a week or two. The person may already have birthday plans, so make sure to give him enough time to fit in your first date.
-
4
Run your plans by the person. If she accepts, see what she thinks about your ideas for the first date. For example, she probably would not want to go to a skating rink if she cannot stand up on skates.
-
5
Confirm your plans. A few days before the person's birthday, call to let him know where and when you should meet or where you will pick him up.
-
6
Don't forget to tell your date "Happy Birthday" when you go out. If you want to make a great impression, you may want to present the person with a small gift during the date.

Tips & Warnings
If the person does not agree to a one-on-one date, see if the person will go with you and a group of friends.
