How to Use a Manual Paper Cutter
A manual paper cutter saves you time and effort and gives you clean cuts on your paper. It cuts many papers at one time and is simple to use. Leave the blade in the locked down position when it is not being used so no accidents happen. The blades are heavy duty and sharp, so use extreme caution when operating these machines or you can cause severe injury to yourself or another person.

Lift the blade up so you can arrange the papers. Most of the time the blade lever stays up on its own, but you can never be too careful with these machines. If you think it feels at all unsteady, hold it up while you align the papers.

2
Line the papers up with the grid lines and the edge of the board. The blade slices right up to the edge of the board, so whatever is over the edge will be sliced off. Align the other side of the papers with one of the grid lines so you get straight even cuts.

Bring the blade down in one swift motion. Hold onto the papers so they do not move at all and mess up your alignment. The swift motion uses momentum to cut through all of the papers. If you do it slowly, you may need a few tries to cut through the paper, which can alter your alignment.
