How to Overclock an Acer Laptop With a Centrino CPU
Overclocking is a process where you speed up your computer's CPU. If you have an Acer computer using a Centrino processor, you can overclock the CPU for additional computing power. However, be very cautious and think twice about this process. Overclocking may void your warranty and damage your hardware. Overclocking your CPU can be done through the BIOS menu.

Turn on your Acer laptop and press "F8" repeatedly top enter the BIOS menu.

Tab over to the "Advanced Settings" menu.

Change the value of the front side bus to a speed of your choosing.

Change the CPU multiplier to a corresponding value. For example, if you set your FSB to 133, you would change the multiplier value to 4.

Press "F11" to save changes and exit.
