How to Change the Time on an NEC Dterm 80 Phone

Changing the time on NEC phone is a quick and simple process.

Having the right time on a telephone is important for taking messages and ensuring that the phone functions properly. It is necessary twice a year at least to alter the time on a phone, although more regular changes may be necessary. An NEC Derm 80 telephone follows the specifications of many other NEC telephones, making it simple to alter the time.

Instructions

1. Press the "Feature" key, from the reception, or 100 extension.

2. Press the "9" key.

3. Press the "#" key.

4. Insert the correct time by using the numberpad. For example, 9:25 a.m. should be entered as 925.

5. Press the "Recall" key to select a.m. or p.m.

6. Press the "Feature" key to save. The time is now set.
