Start Internet Explorer 7 and right click an empty space on the toolbar.

Click "Customize Command Bar" in the menu. A new menu will appear.

Click "Use Large Icons." A check mark next to the text indicates whether "Large Icons" mode is already active in Internet Explorer 7. If you click "Use Large Icons" with a check already present, Internet Explorer 7 will switch to small icons. If you click the text without a check, "Large Icons" will become active.
