To recycle Toshiba cartridges, send them it back to Toshiba so there is no concern over the acceptance policies at other companies. Toshiba's "Close the Loop" program helps customers dispose of toner cartridges responsibly. Some retail stores, such as Staples and Office Depot, also recycle Toshiba cartridges.

Things You'll Need

• Cartridge-sized box
• Packing tape

Instructions

Recycling Through Toshiba

1. Remove the spent cartridge from the copier.

2. Place the cartridge in a box suitable for shipping.

3. Tape the box closed.

4. Address the box to:

   Toshiba Recycling

   2051 Meridian Place

   Hebron, KY 41048

5. Take the box to the nearest post office or shipping vendor and mail it.

Recycling at Staples

1. Remove the spent cartridge from the copier.

2. Place the cartridge into a plastic bag or wrap it to avoid soiling.

3. Take the Toshiba toner cartridge to the nearest Staples store. Take it to the register to receive $2 back in Staples Rewards. If you aren't already a Rewards member, ask to sign up for free.

Recycling at Office Depot

1. Remove the spent cartridge from the copier.

2. Place the cartridge into a plastic bag or wrap it to avoid soiling.
