How to Synchronize Outlook 2003 & My iPhone

Outlook 2003 users can access their email, contacts and calendars from their iPhone, making it easy to keep in touch on the go. Changes made on the iPhone do not affect the computer's Outlook settings, but changes made on a computer will alter the iPhone's information each time the phone is synced. Users can easily set up their Outlook on an iPhone by connecting their device to a computer currently logged into the Outlook 2003 account.

  • Connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes.

  • Click the name of your iPhone from the left side of the iTunes screen.

  • Go to the "Info" tab. Check the box next to "Sync Contacts With" and select "Outlook" from the list.

  • Check the box next to "Sync Calendars With" and select "Outlook" from the list.

  • Check the box next to "Sync Mail Accounts From" and choose "Outlook" from the list. Highlight the name of your Outlook email, if prompted, from the list of email accounts.

  • Click "Apply" at the bottom of the screen and then click "Sync."
