How to Assemble a Build-A-Bear Tent
Build-A-Bear Workshop is an American company that sells teddy bears and other stuffed animals, as well as clothing and accessories for the toy animals. Build-A-Bear tents sold today are pop-up style with the poles built into the sides of the tent and don't need to be put together. However, earlier versions required some assembly. Those tent sets included two flexible tent poles 35 inches long sewn into nylon fabric covers.
Instructions
-
-
1
Place the fabric tent shell on flat surface with the tent door facing you and the floor side down.
-
2
Insert one end of one flexible tent pole into the tent. Situate that end of the pole into one inside corner of the tent shell floor.
-
-
3
Bend the tent pole enough to insert the other pole end into the corner of the tent shell floor that is diagonal from where you situated the first end.
-
4
Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the remaining flexible tent pole in the two remaining corners of the tent floor.
-
5
Adjust the two poles so they cross in an X at the very center of the tent's top. Allow the ends of the poles to spread the tent floor open as flat as possible. The two tent poles should follow along the seams of the fabric that form the tent walls.

Tips & Warnings
Build-A-Bear tents have what appear to be ties on the outside of the tent shell. These have no function and you should ignore them.
The older style of Build-A-Bear tents described here are likely to frustrate very young children, and the tent poles may be an injury hazard as well. Consider replacing the older style tent with one of the new Build-A-Bear tents.
