Clifford remotes control your car alarm wirelessly.

Alarms have become popular safety features on cars around the world, and there are a variety of brands that can be installed by a dealership or an auto parts store. One alarm system, Clifford, allows you to synchronize your own remotes to the transmitter from your car's driver's seat. This programming sequence lets you change the code as often as you like and replace remotes that have been lost or disabled.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter your car, insert the key into the ignition and turn the key to the "On" position.

    • 2

Locate the alarm transmitter on or underneath your dashboard and switch the "PlainView" toggle to select your factory valet code, which can be found in your manual or retrieved from the installer.

    • 3

Press the "PlainView" switch 11 times and wait for the system to emit a chirping sound.

    • 4

Press button No. 1 on your remote and wait for an additional chirp from the system to complete the programming process.
