How to Make a Bubbles Holder

Have fun playing with bubbles in a sturdy bubble holder.

Blowing bubbles is a fun outside activity until someone knocks over that little plastic bubble bottle and ends the fun. Make your own sturdy homemade bubbles holders. A bubble holder made of a glass jar is heavier and less likely to tip when placed on the ground for play. Storing bubble wands in bubble solution leads to sticky fingers. By storing wands in a separate bubble wand holder, your fingers start off clean.

Things You'll Need

• Two empty low mason jars with lids
• Bubble solution
• Bubble wands

Instructions

1. Wash out each jar and lid and let them dry.

2. Write "Bubbles" on the side of one jar with a permanent marker.

3. Write "Wands" on the second jar.

4. Fill the mason jar bubble holder with bubble solution and store the dry wands in the other.

5. Replace the lids and close tightly.

Tips & Warnings

• Make your own bubble solution by combining 2/3 cup dish washing soap, 1 gallon water and 2 to 3 tablespoons of glycerin (available in pharmacies).

• Clearly mark the bottle "Bubbles" so that they are not mistaken for a drink.

• Always have an adult carry and open the bubble solution jars.
