  • Fine ground coffee
  • Water

Instructions

      Disassemble the Bialetti espresso maker, separating the base from the upper portion of the unit. Fill the base with water to the fill line. Bialetti includes a measuring cup to ease this process.

      Add finely ground coffee to the filter basket. Do not overfill the basket or tamp or compress the coffee. Remove any loose coffee grounds from the top edge of the basket.

      Screw the top unit into the base. Do not overly tighten.

      Pour milk into the upper chamber to the fill line. Push down the frothing valve on the top of the machine to activate.

      Place the Bialetti espresso maker on a stovetop burner set to medium heat. Leave on the burner until the top button of the espresso maker pops up, indicating brewing temperature has been reached.

      Pour a cup of espresso from the pour spout. The espresso maker dispenses the espresso and the foamed milk at the same time.
