How to Save the Windows Volume Control Settings for Restart

Volume settings for Windows operating systems are stored in the system's Registry. By default, the volume levels are saved if you adjust them manually through the volume control tool. However, problems are known to occur for certain versions of Windows, where volume settings are not saved if they are adjusted via function keys. The pressing of function keys for this utility do not modify the settings in the Registry, and as a result, chosen settings do not remain after restart.
