Chkdsk Won't Run at Startup

The Microsoft chkdsk tool scans and repairs any issues on your computer hard drive. Oftentimes, troubleshooting chkdsk is as simple as re-enabling it. If the chkdsk feature will not run at start-up, you can repair it with a manual procedure that restores the feature to its default settings. It is important to restore this feature because it prevents minor system issues from growing into bigger ones.
